Why Can’t I Click My Tabs?
If your hyperlinks aren’t working, you may be on the wrong mode in your PDF markup app.
Most PDF markup apps have two modes: a “read” mode and a “write” mode. Hyperlinks only work if you are on the “read” mode.
If you are using Goodnotes 5, tap on the pencil tool on the upper right corner of the Goodnotes 5 toolbar until it changes to a pencil that looks like it has a circle going around it. That means you are on “read” mode and your hyperlinks should work. Alternatively, if you are on “write” mode (you will know it if the pencil tool looks like a pencil with a line going across it), tap and hold the hyperlink until a pop-up menu appears. Tap on “Open Link” to navigate to that page.
If you are using an app other than Goodnotes 5, find the tool on the toolbar that switches from “read” and “write” mode (usually looks like a pen or pencil) to turn on “read” mode.
Will the hyperlinks still work if I rearrange pages
In most PDF markup apps like Goodnotes 5 and Notability, you can safely add and move pages around without breaking the hyperlinks. But in some PDF markup apps, hyperlinks will not work if you move the pages around.
My hyperlinks aren’t linked correctly, what do I do?
Unfortunately, once planner pages have been added/deleted/moved around, we cannot give proper advice on how to fix it since it is different for everyone. Make sure you follow the tutorial on how to duplicate pages and move them around and be sure not to delete the tabbed sections.
If you’ve added/deleted/moved around pages and can’t get them back to the original functionality of the planner, we suggest that you re-download a fresh copy of the planner from Etsy. If you are using Goodnotes 5, you can follow the instructions on our Tips and Tricks page to help you move your information from one planner to another.
Why is my planner loading slowly
The planner is a PDF file so it doesn’t need to load after you have imported it into your PDF markup app. If the planner is lagging, your app or device may need to be restarted. Sometimes apps can start lagging if the memory on your device is almost full.
What do I do if the file is unsupported on my iPad/tablet
If you get “Unsupported File”, please re-download a fresh planner file by clicking following the instructions on how to download and import you planner to your iPad/tablet found in this guide.
